We get the unauthorized material removed from the infringer's site or other unauthorized posting. We begin a series of actions which escalate as needed to accomplish this first goal. If the infringement involves a newsgroup or e-group post, we'll get cancel messages* sent and warn the offender of serious consequences for repeated violations. AND, for the most serious infringements, we'll ask Counsel to carefully investigate the potential of criminal penalties and/or monetary recoveries, and to advise Members of appropriate courses of action.
